Metroid Prime 4: Beyond dated for Dec. 4 with motorbike gameplay and Switch 2 4K/60 support
Nintendo set a Dec. 4, 2025 release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on Switch and Switch 2. A new trailer shows Samus riding a high-tech bike, Vi-O-La, hinting at broader exploration on planet Viewros. Switch 2 gets 4K/60 or 1080p/120 modes with HDR and new Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. Retro Studios leads development after a 2019 reboot. Three new amiibo will launch alongside.
